This year at Homecoming, a flurry of celebrations shined a light on the power of ECFS’s orange pride and the strength of our community!
The day kicked off in the JV Gym with the ASMC Family Breakfast Gathering, where students and families enjoyed music from a live DJ, shared what their personal meaning of “community” is, and spent time meeting and mingling with other Eagles. This special gathering was a meaningful way to start such a fun and important day for our School!
Later, the Student Commons came alive with the energy of our Loyal Oaks Reception, which honors donors who have given to ECFS for 5+ years. Their steadfast support serves as the foundation for our continued growth, ensuring that we can provide an excellent educational experience for our students and support the amazing faculty who serve and distinguish our School.
All around campus, alumni, students, parents/guardians, faculty, staff, and friends of ECFS were connecting and enjoying activities at the alumni tent and family hub. Whether creating together at the arts and crafts table or paging through old yearbooks, there were plenty of opportunities for Eagles to build community together.
Meanwhile, undeterred by the rainy weather, community members gathered on the sidelines and in the bleachers to cheer on our student athletes. Their enthusiasm and support was unmatched!
With the support of their community behind them, players hit the field, pool, and court. The girls field hockey, girls soccer, water polo, volleyball, boys soccer, and football teams all gave it their all and made their school proud, while the percussion ensemble gave an energetic halftime show during the football game!
Being part of an athletics team is just one of the many ways that our students build confidence and exercise leadership, and Homecoming 2023 was a spectacular display of what these athletes have learned by working together. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments!
