As part of their study of immigration, fourth graders interviewed members of the ECFS community who identify as immigrants. Students learned that those who come to the United States do so for a variety of reasons.
4th Graders asked a range of questions, from "Are the holidays the same?" to "What video games did you use to play?"
In response to a question like "What do you miss most?", the answers from our community members were just as varied, from "family" to "the weather" to "food."
Back in the classroom, the students wrote thank you notes to their subjects and reflected on the experience with their peers.
